

PROF. HYUN DEOG (SAM) YOO
I have been conducting fundamental and applied research on electrochemistry for energy storage and harnessing, especially via in-situ and in-operando electrochemical & spectroscopic analysis. My research focuses on advanced batteries, supercapacitors, and fuel cells. As a postdoc researcher, I have been supervised by Prof. Doron Aurbach (Bar-ilan Univ., Israel), Prof. Yan Yao (Univ. of Houston, USA) and Prof. Jordi Cabana (Univ. of Illinois at Chicago, USA) until I joined Pusan National Univ. as an assistant professor in Chemistry.
